Lydia Workman is a Toronto based visual artist who has recently resumed exhibiting her art. She has been on sabbatical for many years. In 2013 she returned to art with a number of new paintings based on her mystical experiences as an occultist.
This painting is influenced by Runes. There are 2 ideas here which have to do with bind Runes. This is a visual bind rune which links the runes of Isa and Gebo together. These 2 runes are combined to stop feelings of heartbreak. I have included an expressive portrait of a woman who is green in the face with undesired feelings.
